SDS has launched intriguing Christmas meals along with their Christmas project 2.0.


Johor Bahru, 8/12/2020 – Christmas is just a couple of weeks away. It’s time for festive shopping and Christmas meal planning. If you are still wondering what can be done from scratch, and would like to stay away from the hassles this year, the Christmas series launched by SDS could be your perfect alternatives. 


As the local most recognizable bakery & cafe, SDS creations always delights, with the same said for their seasonal selections. During this Christmas, SDS has proudly brought back their signature Christmas-only dish, “Herb Roasted Whole Chicken”. Deeply marinated with secret recipe, SDS “Herb Roasted Whole Chicken” has successfully captured people’s heart since first launch, and believed to continue satisfying the desire of savouring deliciousness. Christmas can be hot and spicy too with the succulent “Spicy Roasted Whole Chicken”, newly added to Christmas selection, which is definitely able to excite eater’s taste buds. Served with black pepper sauce and BBQ sauce, SDS “Roasted Whole Chicken” suitable for 3 to 4 persons sharing, available at RM35.90++.

SDS customers who wish to stay at home for festive celebration are able to take-away SDS Roasted Whole Chicken or WhatsApp their delivery hotline to get the scrumptious prepared on tables. Customers are able to receive free warmer bag and enjoy 30% discount when they take-away 2nd roasted chicken or order for delivery. SDS customers can also receive RM20 discount voucher and free warmer bag when they take-away a roasted whole chicken with an “X’mas Log cake”. Warmer bag is available while stocks last. Pre-order 3 days in advanced is required for SDS Roasted Whole Chicken for dine-in or take away. It will be readily available for dine-in on 23rd to 25th December.



Apart from that, SDS has crafted 2 main courses for their Christmas menu, which are available for customers to ring in the festivities all month long from 28 Nov 2020 to 3 January 2021. Chicken lovers are able to savour “Ho Ho Ho Chicken”, the chicken whole leg with cheese and trimmings, mashed potato, sweet corn, served with black pepper sauce, which sold at RM24.90. Whipped up a rich special made gravy, “Merry Fishmas”, the grilled salmon which served with sautéed spinach mushroom, sweet corn, and mashed potato is also available at RM35.90++.



To be compatible with enticing meals, cool beverages are essential. Strawberry fans would love “Merry Berry”, the strawberry drink topped with whipping cream, blueberry and strawberry sauce, and available at RM13.90++ for a-la carte and RM9.90++ for add-on to Christmas meals. “Citrus Freezy”, the refreshing note made with citrus, and topped with whipping cream and peach puree sauce is also get-a-able at the same price as the previous. Hot winter is readily available too with “Winter Chocolate”, the roasted almond chocolate hot drink topped with whipping cream which sold at RM8.90++ for add-on to Christmas series and RM12.90++ for a-la carte.

A Christmas meal is incomplete without a Christmas cake. This year, SDS launches a series of unique and camera-ready Christmas cakes, ranges from RM58 to RM85 accordingly. It’s essential to mention the most unique cake creation launched by SDS in this Christmas, “A Christmas Blessing”, the cutest Christmas sponge cake decorated with snow dome and baked with chocolate Rocher, hazelnut, and fruit. SDS most significant Christmas cake, “Santa House”, the hand-crafted chocolate house used to be the best choice for chocolaty sweet tooth. “Winter Holiday”, the Gelato cake with chocolate sponge and “Cookies & Cream” Gelato is also ready to serve you with the coolest indulgent. Photogenic Christmas cake such as “Here Comes Santa”, vanilla sponge with strawberry filling and cream cheese, and classic “X’mas Log Cake” which made by chocolate swiss roll for standard size cake, and chocolate sponge for royal size cake are also worthy to share on social media.


SDS customers who busy with work can also order Christmas meals or cakes for delivery via delivery platform such as FoodPanda, GrabFood and so on, to ease their tight festive schedule. 

Other than cakes, SDS has also announced adorable Christmas donut, “Merry Christmas Tree”, “Gingerbread Man”, shortbread white chocolate cookies, “White Teddy” and “A Gift from Santa”, combo of Mini Macarons, Almond Chocolate Cookies, and Almond and Seeds Crisp. SDS Christmas cakes are available for pre-order 3 days in advance till last pick-up date, which is 1st January 2021. SDS E-member is eligible to enjoy 10% discount on any Christmas cake.



“Smiley face faded gradually in the journey of fighting with tough times, especially those underprivileged. We hope our simple actions are able to light up their days in this Christmas season. Therefore we decided to continue our last Christmas project, to spread Christmas cheer with gifts donated from customers to orphans.” Mr. Lee added.

SDS customers are encouraged to donate any Christmas gift to orphan by placing the gift under Christmas tree of particular SDS Cafe. They can choose to purchase “A Gift from Santa” at special price, RM6.90 and donate the combo of cookies to orphan as their gifts too. Donors will receive a thank you card, drew by orphans from beneficial orphanage with every gift donated. Interested customers are welcomed to visit SDS Cafe at AEON Mall Kulaijaya, Taman Universiti, Taman Johor Jaya, AEON Mall Tebrau City, Paradigm Mall, Kota Tinggi or The Mall Mid Valley Southkey from now till 25 Dec 2020 to present your love and little token to those little angels.
